Welcome to Wikilingua.ie - a wiki for language teachers that aims to support you on your journey when implementing Web 2.0 technologies in the language classroom.

Wikilingua.ie was set up by three lecturers of National University of Ireland, Galway, Berit Carmesin (German), Doris Devilly (German) and Michelle Tooher(CELT).

The idea for Wikilingua.ie grew from the experience of attempting to integrate web technologies in the classroom, and the challenges we faced.  We hope you will find this wiki a valuable resource tool and look forward to your contributions and comments. A special welcome from the Wikilingua monkey, Florenzo!
